SAN DIEGO, CA – With submissions numbering north of 4,600 entries, submitted from 58 countries, Independent Financial Group, LLC (IFG) has taken Gold in the 2020 MUSE Creative Awards competition. The winning work, directed at independent financial advisors considering switching broker-dealers, was created by IFG’s in-house design team consisting of Logan Brown and Anna Guillotte. The ‘Unique Blend of Broker-Dealer’ direct mail campaign has also earned Platinum in the 2020 Hermes Creative Awards.
“We knew we had a very talented creative team, but it’s incredibly validating to see their work honored, and on an international stage at that,” says David Fischer, IFG Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder. “With our ‘Unique Blend’ campaign, we wanted to create a truly unique experience that captivated our audience, amplified our message, and endured. Four months later, people are still talking about it.”
The MUSE Creative and MUSE Design Awards are international competitions catered to professionals from the creative and design industries, who help foster new horizons for their industries. “It is our privilege, as always, to honor these remarkable individuals,” said Kenjo Ong, CEO of both competitions. “They have more than earned their achievements.”
Under the administration of the International Awards Associate (IAA), both awards are judged by a panel of professionals, who have received accolades in international settings. IAA oversees awards and recognition programs, assembles judging panels, and sets rigorous standards for both competitions.
Grand Jury Panel
The judges for this year’s competitions were as many as 56, from up to 22 countries. These exceptional professionals belong to leading companies in the creative and digital industry from around the world, with some of them belonging to notable groups such as Tiago do Vale Architects, Neil Poulton Industrial Design, Icona Design, ATELIER CENTRAL, Eleven Inc., Cutwater, Grayling, Saatchi & Saatchi NY, Coley Porter Bell, ADBRAIN Inc., etc.
All entries are evaluated based on their respective industry’s standards. During blind judging, panelists look at factors such as the quality and effectiveness of concepts utilized, then selecting winners from a deep pool of international submissions.

A large number of entries were also representing familiar international brands and agencies. The dedication to their craft is properly conveyed through the works themselves. Entries which represented brands and agencies such as Pan Pacific Hotels Group, IKEA, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Rolls-Royce, Les Ateliers Louis Moinet, Dell Technologies Education Services, Penghu Tourism Bureau, BMW, World Vision International, The Coca-Cola Company, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Tommy Hilfiger, Maybelline New York, Concord Hospitality Enterprises Company, W Hotel, Lotus Evija, Mandarin Oriental Jumeira Hotel Dubai, Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel, Player One Trailers, Puma Football, Canon Singapore Pte Ltd, Pingtung County Government Taiwan, and PUREBLINK, rank among the winners for this year’s competition.
