SAN DIEGO, CA – Independent Financial Group, LLC (IFG) a San Diego-based independent broker-dealer has announced today that donations totaling $60,000 have been awarded to The Challenged Athletes Foundation, Junior Blind of America, the Mitchell Thorp Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project. Next month, IFG will also participate in the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots drive, engaging employees in the charitable process.
“When I founded IFG in 2003, I knew that once it became financially possible for us to begin giving back, we would do so” says Scott Heising, Founder, Owner and Managing Director. He continues, “Along with my partners, David Fischer and Joe Miller, we are proud that we have been able to make significant contributions to these organizations and see those donations in action through the numerous programs that benefit the community.”
